Three weeks ago, I had the opportunity of leading the golf cart campus tours for the President's Reception event. This beautiful evening on the Hillsborough River featured a beer and wine bar, campus tours, and minaret climbs. There were also tons of UT merchandise available for purchase at a discounted rate. I had a great time connecting with our alums by showing them how much our campus has grown!
More importantly, I learned so much about their experiences while they were students. Climbing the minaret always fills my soul with pride and gratification. You go up there and look at UT's picturesque campus, feeling awed. I'm proud to serve as The University of Tampa's alumni relations intern with the office of development and university relations.

Last week, I enjoyed working at The Minaret Society Dinner – UT's finest event. Throughout my involvement on campus, I have to say this was the best event I got to experience. It was also great catching up with one of our board of trustees, Alan Randolph. I met many different kinds of people, including many City of Tampa officials. This event had a French theme – a giant charcuterie board and lots of good food.

The night ended with a jazz band who played fantabulous music. I had so much fun dancing and partying with the entire development team. I'm so grateful for this experience during my senior year of college. I sure am making the goodbye year worthwhile!
